Few things are as personal as the place we call home. And armed with their genuine love for houses and their heartfelt belief that everyone deserves a home they love, Andrew and Kelly Lael have become widely known as the community experts for home renovation and custom-built homes.
In 2019, their now 18-year-old business changed names. “We decided it was time to rebrand the business from Lael Building Group to Lael Homes in order to better convey the warmth of what we do. We aren’t just a construction and interior design company,” explained Lael Homes CEO, Andrew Lael. “We are a family-owned business that is committed to helping other families have the home of their dreams. We are in the business of helping families age in place, customize their homes to fit their lifestyle, and upgrade their homes with amenities that offer luxury and comfort.”
The Laels have enjoyed longevity in business largely due to their uncompromising commitment to excellence. “We stay on top of trends in the industry,” President Kelly Lael explained. “While we aren’t interested in being trendy, we understand that certain trends will have more staying power than others. We help our clients choose options that will work for the long-term, and that will remain stylish over time.”
“Moreover,” Kelly continued, “we pride ourselves on simplifying the process for our clients. While many in our industry will send their clients all over to choose tile, flooring, paint, cabinets, countertops, etc., we’ve developed a system that is firmly rooted in communication. When we meet with our clients, we’re not interested in creating OUR vision. It’s about THEIR vision. And our job is to pull together their wants and needs into an aesthetic, functional, and purposeful reality. We know how overwhelming the choices are, so with the clients’ vision in mind, as well as their budget, we pull together up to three options and bring those options directly to our client for their review and selection. Our clients love that we take the legwork out of what can be an overwhelming experience.”
Andrew and Kelly have the expertise to build from the ground up or tackle home renovations and remodeling projects. “My husband Andrew has over 300 custom-built homes to his name,” said Kelly. “And when we say custom – we mean custom. Our homes are not cookie-cutter, and they are tailored to meet the needs of the families we work with. But we also love to help people stay exactly where they are. We can offer creative solutions for kitchen and bathroom remodels, as well as new home additions, and we can even create that coveted look that people love – the open floor plan.”
